You can now purchase our cake stands in store at Fortnum & Mason! (www.fortnumandmason.com)
We’re extremely proud to be a supplier of Fortnum’s who are recognised for their high quality goods, being an iconic British store and having held numerous Royal Warrants over the past 150 years. Our first batch of cake stands have sold out and the next batch will be in store next week……
Further to my recent posts on the fascinator workshops I’m organising…….
I’d like to introduce you to Julie, a lady with oodles of floristy talent and the gorgeous owner of Floriture. Together we’re collaborating on a number of fascinator and floristry workshops this year (one in Feb I’ll post details on shortly). Perfect for a crafty gathering, we can put on a afternoon tea for you complete with my gorgeous china from Vintage Tea Sets for a very attractive package price. Perfect for hen parties, birthday parties or just a meeting of craft loving minds.
Here’s some examples of what the lovely Julie can offer you in her ‘makes’, and remember we can tailor our courses to meet your requirements, just ask. Imagine a hen party where you can make your headpieces, button holes, corsages…..centrepieces….bouquets (obviously you can’t have it all in one day but you can have a selection)….even Bridal jewellery! why not have a two day course and make a weekend of it? Its a great idea for a wedding on a budget and you all go away with having learnt something and gained some new skills. There may be a budding florist in one of you but haven’t discovered yet. Do you have a theme you want us to incorporate in your workshop? Possibilities are boundless honestly. Contact Vicky on 0117 9532973 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Back in August this year I was asked to provide vintage cake stands for Series 3 Episode ‘The Cake’ for Chef chef Raymond Blancs’ Restaurant Programme.
The episode was aired on Thursday and not only do my cake stands make an appearance but so do I. I was asked to come along and give my thoughts on the afternoon tea in a professional capacity and I have to say…..I wasn’t too impressed and that came across pretty well I think! Over two hours to get served and the some stale sandwiches arrived and some shop bought cakes…..not good. But my friend Kathryn and I still had fun watching the chaos unfurl, people walking out and throwing barneys.
Watch it again here on BBC iPlayer to find out what NOT to do for an Afternoon Tea!
Here’s a few taster pics of the actual crockery we have to offer here at vintage tea Sets in action at an Afternoon tea wedding, for more images, please click here to view our gallery. Don’t forget we also have dinner services…..these beautiful images were captured by Graham Morgan

Royal Albert anyone?
Just a short and sweet post on here as I’m busy packing for the honeymoon, for those of you who landed here from Vintage Tea Sets my Mum Penny will be holding the crockery fort so do not fear, just give her a tinkle on 0117 9532973.
Anyway, it was a blast and Rosie Parsons has just sent me some taster pics of my 1920’s style wedding with a lovely afternoon tea…..that girl does not waste time I tell you! Amazing, just got back from the venue and there were some waiting for me on Rock n Roll Bride
